Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

This policy explains how DearPlay Digital Inc. ("DearPlay", "we", "us") handles information when you play our games ("Games") or visit dearplaydigital.com. We collect as little as we need to run and improve our Games.

Who we are

DearPlay Digital Inc. is a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us at simon@dearplaydigital.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically

Our Games may collect limited technical information, such as:

We do not ask for your name, home address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and we do not require you to create an account to play.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so we can deliver it to you.

How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising

Some Games may show ads from third-party ad networks. These partners may use your device's advertising identifier to show and measure ads. On iPhone and iPad, we only access the advertising identifier if you allow it when the app asks. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they won't be personalized.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to help run our Games, for example for analytics, crash reporting, advertising and hosting. They may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services. A list of the providers used in each Game is available on request.

Children

Our Games are not directed to children under 13 unless a Game's store listing says otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. If we release a Game designed for children, it will follow the applicable children's privacy rules, including turning off personalized advertising.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Support emails are kept for up to two years. Game and analytics data is kept in identifiable form for no longer than 26 months.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA, the EU and UK GDPR, and California law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or limit certain uses, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email simon@dearplaydigital.com with the name of the Game. We may need to verify your request, and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Where information is stored

We are based in Canada, and our service providers may store information in Canada, the United States or other countries. Wherever it's processed, we take reasonable steps to protect it as described in this policy.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll also let you know in the Game.
